I'm on the fence with the new lighting changes. The Raven I normally fly looks just fantastic now - and I particularly like how the launchers now blend better with the ship hull. All the Amarr ships look just wicked, although I did notice that the reds appear brighter and the golds more muted. Maybe it's a graphics card thing? I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week. |

WOW! The new Caldari Navy ships are awesome! They now have this subtle magnetic blue reflection depending on the lightning and angle. Combined with the darker contrasts on some of the black detailing, this is just amazing! And the new smoke trails for missiles are fantastic! Kudos to the art team - please don't change anything with respect to these!

If I could make one small minor request: the Caldari Navy launchers in Rubicon 1.2 were much more vidid with navy colors and blue lighting; they now seem a lot more muted and "grey", don't the same degree of blue lighting and almost no reflection from the surfaces. I'm not sure if this was intended or not, but if it's at all possible to revert the navy gear back to 1.2 it would lend itself better to the ship changes in 1.3. Thanks for your consideration. I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week. |

CCP, could you please officially comment on the graphics/lightning changes? Some are really good (Caldari), some are really bad (Gallente), the colors are really off on some (Amarr) - but all have lost their ship running/blinking lights and Faction turrets are no longer distinguishable from their T1 counterparts, and look horrible on Faction hulls. I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week. |

The latest update has corrected all the issues with the turrets. One minor note: some of the Caldari turrets (cruise missile launcher, heavy missile launcher) seem to have some really heavily pixelated textures. This probably isn't noticeable in-game, but I thought I'd point it out anyway. Any ETA on a fix for the Tengu, missing ship blinking lights and drone forcefield bays? I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week. |
